Diksha began her dance training at the age of 4 originally in Indian Classical forms of Bharathantyam, Kathak, and Odissi. After 15 years, she certified as a teacher and received multiple accolades from different festivals, including but not limited to the Grand Dance Prix in Barcelona, Spain, the Thyagaraja Festival in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Ethnic Dance Festival in San Francisco, USA.

 

By High School, she started exploring and incorporating modern dance forms such as Bollywood, Bhangra, and Hip Hop into her style. In her undergraduate years at UCSB, Diksha was a competitor and choreographer for AMG Bhangra. She danced for various events including intercollegiate competitions in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, as well as half time shows for UCSB basketball games.

 

After graduating, Diksha is now currently a member of the 4th season of the Syndicate Dance Team and working as a Sport Medical Assistant for the 49ers/Giants.
