Montage Dance Studio is proud to announce our 2024 Dance Showcase and Fundraising event!

 

Montage will be hosting a fundraising event on March 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM, from our studio at 1090 Kiely Blvd, Santa Clara, CA. This event will combine a dance showcase of Montage’s performing adult companies and youth teams with a raffle and silent auction to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

 

All proceeds from the event will benefit St. Jude’s. Montage chose this organization in 2024 because of its meaningful impact in children’s lives who are bravely undergoing treatment for cancer and other catastrophic illnesses.

 

Many of the dancers in our Montage family have been changed forever by cancer. Montage’s founder Lauren Hoskins lost her cousin Justin at a young age to childhood cancer, which was the inception of the studio’s multi-year fundraising event. Kaycee Carmichael Chiu, a teacher and tap company director at Montage, was the primary caregiver during her mother Jane’s battle with colorectal cancer in 2016 which ultimately took her life. Collectively, we all desire to rid the world of cancer in all its forms and having seen the challenges simply trying to stay alive has on families – we wanted to do everything in our power to help in their memory.

 

The mission of St. Jude is to advance cures, and means of prevention for these diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay. Thanks to treatments developed at St. Jude, the survival rate of childhood cancer has dramatically increased from 20%-80%. The impact of St. Jude and its mission gives us all hope for a future where no child has to go through so much, and no family has to worry about how to keep their child alive.

Attending our event, entering our raffle and silent auction, donating financially, and sharing our event with your connections are all great ways to get started.
