Katie Chapin has been dancing since the age of 3 and is trained in ballet, hip-hop, tap, jazz, modern, and contemporary. She is currently in her senior year at SJSU with a degree path of a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in dance. During her time at San Jose State University Katie joined the dance department's advanced performance company, University Dance Theatre. After graduation Katie looks to further her education in dance pedagogy and continue teaching all around the bay area. 

 

Katie enjoys teaching students of all ages and spreading her love and passion for dance. Doing it her whole life helped to shape her into who she is, and wants to continue to give back to the community through dance.
