Kelley Mills

Kelley started dance when she was 8 years old at Lakeview Dance in Polk City, IA before moving to Amy’s School of Dance in Huxley, IA for her second year on. She started with ballet, tap, and jazz then moved on to the other various types of dance including lyrical, funk, tumbling, and hip hop. She has also gone to many conventions and taken various workshops during her dancing career.


Kelley went to North Polk High School in Alleman, IA, was a lead dancer in the school’s dance team and was captain of the color guard for two years. She was also selected to be on the all-state kick line her senior year.

 

Kelley also performed for various Iowa Ballet Theater productions including the Nutcracker and Dracula.

 

She attended Iowa State University for 2 years and received a minor in Spanish and completed her Associates in Liberal Arts at DMACC.


Kelley taught at Amy’s School of Dance from 2009 through 2014, and was the head coach of the Color Guard and Winter Guard at North Polk High school from 2009-2011.

She currently teaches youth ballet, lyrical, and jazz at Montage Dance Studio.
