I have been training in dance since 2012, and since then have expanded to a variety of teaching and performing experiences. In the years of 2013-2016, I performed with the top color guard groups in the world. During some months in 2013 and 2014, I joined a hip hop dance team called Str8jacket, but left to pursue more color guard experience. I have trained under Tony Award-winning choreographers, and have been able to apply their knowledge into my own growth as a choreographer.

 

In my return to Str8jacket, in 2016, I was selected out of a few team members to audition for America’s Got Talent Season 12. In the summer of 2018, I was again chosen to be a part of a small group from Str8jacket, to audition for NBC’s World of Dance Season 3. As well as being a team member, there were many instances where I choreographed for Str8jacket’s competition sets and audition sets. In summer of 2019, I toured Japan for four months as a cast member in Blast! The Music of Disney.

 

As of recent, before the stay-at-home order took place, I was cast to be a part of the ensemble for three separate community theatre musicals based in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, because of the stay-at-home order in March of 2020, those opportunities fell through. Since then, I’ve continued to teach local dance workshops in the Bay Area, and am still a choreographer and instructor for the award-winning color guard team at Saratoga High School.
